Windows 10 is very similar to Windows 8, and Windows 8 in turn was very similar to Windows 7.
Just reply back if you need further guidance. Basically, Windows 10 can run all traditional Windows desktop applications. I have been using FSX as a benchmarking application for my PC builds for years. Had time off last week and reloaded the game and got it to run with no fatal errors.
I then upgraded to 64 bit windows 7 and had nothing but fatal errors when flying. I got away from this game mainly due to hard drive crash. Microsoft Flight Simulator X is the third most recent major release of. Once you get up and running with the basic settings, you can experiment with the various settings to get better performance for your hardware. It had SSSTUUTTTERS, but I changed some lines in the CFG and was mostly happy. Microsoft Flight Simulator is a series of amateur flight simulator programs for Microsoft. Around large cities and airports you should set this to UNLIMITED to let the game manage the resources of your system more efficient as there are a lot of polygons the system has to calculate in these areas
Basically what it is doing is it starts to install and the gets stuck about the point where it is 'removing applications'. However, if I can get CFS2 to work with Win 7, I would like to donate the XP machine so that someone in need of it can use it for general computing. Locate the Notebook Product Number or Model Number I've been trying to install Microsoft Flight Simulator X Deluxe edition on my new PC running windows 10 and it won't install. This was extremely frustrating until I figured out what was going on. On your "sound" control panel, the Communications tab, change the option to "Do nothing." FSX ATC sounds count as "communications activity," so it will reduce the volume of everything else (engines, wind, etc) whenever ATC speaks. FSX runs fine on Win7, as long as your hardware can support it.
